Award Recipients are revealed each year through a professionally produced national virtual presentation, so Recognition Nominees, Award Recipients and supporters can celebrate together from anywhere in the country.
Experience Two
Event Teams Gala
In-Person Celebration · Nashville, Tennessee
A separate, invitation-only, in-person celebration of connection, community and industry impact for the Event Teams Awards membership community, with Nashville as the home of the Gala experience. Award Recipients are announced through the national virtual presentation, not at the Gala.

2026 Event Teams Awards — Recognizing Nationwide
Event Teams Awards is a year-round nationwide recognition program for event and wedding professionals, businesses and teams. Each year's national awards announcement is shared through a professionally produced virtual presentation, so Recognition Nominees, Award Recipients and supporters can celebrate together from anywhere in the country.
The nomination, Official Nominee Selection, Official Review Process, People's Choice and award-recognition processes lead to the announcement, and Event Teams Awards members have Virtual Live access to watch the presentation and replay.
Recognition continues throughout the year with award delivery, recipient spotlights, community connection and networking, including Your Seat at the Table.

An Evening of Recognition, Connection & Celebration
The Event Teams Gala brings together invited professionals, businesses, teams, and industry leaders for an evening dedicated to celebrating the people behind extraordinary events. Featuring the signature Gold Carpet Experience, industry recognition, and meaningful professional connections, the Gala creates an opportunity to celebrate achievements, honor contributions, and strengthen relationships throughout the wedding and event industry. Attendance is by invitation. Additional event information is provided to invited guests. The Gala is planned for Fall 2027 and is separate from the national virtual awards announcement.
The Gold Carpet Experience. Every nominee has a story worth celebrating. Every recipient has a legacy worth remembering. The Gold Carpet Experience celebrates the professionals, teams, and businesses whose creativity, dedication, and contributions help shape the wedding and event industry. Invited Official Nominee Selections, previous Award Recipients, Star Tribute honorees, and industry guests are welcomed into an atmosphere of recognition, professional photography, interviews, and celebration. Star Tribute honorees also receive special recognition as part of the Gala experience.
An optional Industry Connections Experience may take place the day following the Gala, creating opportunities for professional introductions, mentorship and business connections. Membership does not guarantee Gala admission.
