Event Teams Awards is a national awards platform created to recognize emerging professionals who have been putting in the work, building their craft, and shaping the future of the event, wedding, and corporate event industry.
The Event Teams Awards concept originally began in 2019 and was delayed after 2020. The 2026 format changed; the awards were not canceled. The Awards is scheduled for October 23, 2026.
Event Teams Awards is more than an awards ceremony. It is an industry recognition experience designed to create visibility, connection, mentorship, learning, professional growth, community, and legacy for emerging event professionals across the country.
The Event Teams Awards Is a Private Event and Invitation-Only
Event Teams Awards is a national recognition platform celebrating emerging event and wedding professionals, businesses, teams, and selected supporting vendors across the USA. Recognition on the platform can be public — visibility, features, and participation are part of what the platform offers.
The Event Teams Awards event however, is a private, in-person event and invitation-only. It is not open to the general public, and admission is not available for general purchase.

It is important to understand the distinction: being nominated, becoming a nominee, holding a membership, and receiving an invitation to the private event are all separate things. One does not automatically guarantee another.
Who It's For
Emerging professionals across the U.S., primarily event planners, designers, and event teams, with selected industry professionals and vendors where applicable. The current direction is approximately 1–5 years in the industry.
