Nomination Process

Event Teams Awards recognizes emerging and growing U.S.-based event and wedding industry businesses, professionals, and teams. Current eligibility focuses on approximately 6 months to 5 years in business. Recognition is primarily business-based, even when an owner or professional represents a company.

Supporters, clients, peers, community members, and viewers could nominate a business; self-nomination was also permitted. Businesses nominated by others may be contacted afterward. Supporting work may be requested.

Nomination is distinct from accepted or confirmed participation where applicable, official finalist status, and winning. A nomination does not guarantee finalist placement, People’s Choice placement, or a win. Membership is not required and never influences results.
